The article examines the possibilities of using digital project management platforms in the educational process as a means of providing students with practical training for their future professional activities. The relevance of using cloud-based digital tools for modelling project activities, organizing teamwork, and visualizing project planning and implementation processes is substantiated. Based on a comparison of the functional capabilities of Jira, Trello, Asana, and Worksection, the specific features of their use in an educational environment are identified. The practical part of the study was implemented using Worksection by modelling an educational startup project, SmartParking AI, an intelligent system for finding and booking parking spaces. The study demonstrates the structuring of the educational project according to the stages of its life cycle, the decomposition of work into tasks and subtasks, the use of a Gantt chart and Kanban board, as well as the combination of sequential and iterative approaches to organizing project activities. The possibilities of using a digital environment to develop students’ practical skills in project planning, coordination, and control are identified.
