GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

Original manuscripts that have not been previously published in Ukrainian or English are accepted for review. Authors (co-authors) may submit multiple articles; however, only one article by the same author(s) will be published in a single issue.

Technical Requirements

  1. File format: Articles must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc, .docx).

  2. Length: The recommended length is 4,000–6,000 words (excluding abstracts, illustrations, tables, and references). Articles exceeding this volume must be pre-approved by the editorial board.

  3. Language: Ukrainian or English.

  4. Author information: Must be provided in both Ukrainian and English and should include:

    • first and last name;

    • academic degree or title;

    • position, affiliation (full name of institution);

    • postal address, phone number, e-mail, and ORCID.
      For articles with two or more authors, one must be designated as the corresponding author.

  5. Abstract: The recommended length is 1,800–2,500 characters in both languages.

  6. Keywords: 5–10 keywords or phrases in both languages.

  7. Article structure: The article must follow international academic standards and be clearly structured with the following required sections:

    • Introduction: statement of the research problem and its relevance to scientific and/or practical tasks.

    • Theoretical Background:

      • review of the latest research and publications related to the topic;

      • identification of gaps in current knowledge;

      • formulation of the article’s objective;

      • description of the applied research methods.

    • Results and Discussion: presentation and substantiation of the core findings of the study.

    • Conclusions: key takeaways and perspectives for future research.

  8. In-text citations and referencing:

    • In-text references should follow this format: (Surname, year, page).

    • When citing multiple sources, they should be listed in alphabetical order, separated by semicolons:
      (Petrenko, 2024; Yakovets, 2020; Miller, 2019).

    • For direct quotes, use quotation marks «...», and provide an exact page number. Quotes must match the language of the article and reflect the original source precisely.

  9. References:

    • Must be formatted according to APA style (7th edition) in alphabetical order.

    • DOI numbers (if available) must be included and active (clickable).

    • Access dates are required only for standard hyperlinks (not for sources with DOI).

    • To ensure correct formatting, use reference management tools such as Grafiati, Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.

  10. Illustrations and appendices:

    • Visual materials (figures, charts, tables, diagrams, etc.) used in the article should also be submitted as separate files in the format in which they were created.

  11. Funding sources:

    • For example:
      _This research was carried out within the framework of the research project “TOPIC”, registration number ______, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
      _Or: This work was partially funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) through a National Cancer Institute grant (NO. __).

  12. Acknowledgements: (optional).
