In-Text Citations

Citations within the text should follow these rules:

  • Cite sources using the surname of the first author in the original language, followed by the year of publication, and page number if necessary, all in parentheses.

  • If citing multiple sources simultaneously, separate them with a semicolon and list them in alphabetical order by the first author's surname.
    Example: The issue has been studied by D. Petrenko, R. Yakovets, and S. Miller (Петренко, 2024; Яковець, 2020; Miller, 2019).

  • In cases of direct quotations, the text must appear in quotation marks («...»), with an exact page reference. Quotations must be in the article’s language and correspond exactly to the original source.

References ("References")

The reference list must:

  • Be in alphabetical order;

  • Follow APA Style (7th edition);

  • Include DOIs where available (DOIs must be active and lead to the cited document);

  • Indicate access dates only when citing general URLs (not required for sources with DOIs).

Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools (e.g., Grafiati, Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote) to assist with proper formatting and to minimize errors.
